Itinerary

Pick up your rental car at the airport and drive to Amman. Depending on your arrival time, you can explore some of Amman’s highlights like:
1. The Citadel
2. Downtown
3. Roman Theater
4. Art Galleries
5. Cooking class in Amman.
6. Wine tasting activity ect.

Amman offers a vibrant culinary scene, perfect for fueling your self-drive adventures. Here are some notable dining spots to consider:
1. Hashem Restaurant (Downtown Amman)
2. Sufra Restaurant (Rainbow Street)
3. Shams Al Balad
4. Shawerma Reem
5. Falafel Al Quds (Rainbow Street).

Driving distance around 45 min – 1 Hour min depending on traffic.

Overnight in Amman.

Depart from Amman and drive South explore a Masterpiece half as old as time; The Red Rose city of Petra.Marvel at the beauty of the ‘Lost City’, exploring its many caves and tombs. Walk through the Siq and be astounded at the magnificent Treasury, the entrance guarding the ancient Nabatean city, now one of the Modern 7 Wonders of the World. Then explore the city further, such as Qasr Al-Bint or the Royal Tombs.

Depart Petra to Wadi Rum for a traditional Bedouin dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, it’s time for an adventure!

You will board a Jeep and enjoy a roughly 2-hour tour that will allow you to travel around Wadi Rum valleys, canyons and dunes, discover rock inscriptions, majestic views of mountains and landscapes and narrow gorges. At each stop you have the opportunity to hike and scramble and explore in your own time.

Return to your camp for check-out and collect your luggage. The Bedouin guide will drop you off where your car is parked, bid farewell and you can continue your trip. Now down to the lowest point on Earth – The Dead Sea, 400m below sea level.

Enjoy a day relaxing at the Dead Sea, floating in the salty waters, rest by the pool or pamper yourself with spa treatments.

Drive from Wadi Rum onto the Dead Sea takes around 4 Hours

Drive back to QAIA for departure. Allow spare time for the drive and potential traffic in addition to that car rental return procedures can take time.

We recommend to be at the airport at least 4 hours prior to your flight.

Drive from the Dead Sea to QAIA takes around 1 hour.

It is always recommended to consider hiring a local guide at the visitors Center for a more in-depth understanding of the site’s history and significance yet the quality of the local guides can not be guaranteed as they work on a rotation basis. Some guides are more engaging, knowledgeable and fluent in English than others.

The duration of the main trail in Petra guided tour is around 2:00 – 2:30 Hours. Afterwards,you will be able to continue the visit of the site in complete freedom at your own pace without the guide (One way).
