One of the world’s longest-inhabited cities, Amman offers an intoxicating mix of ancient grace and the shock of the new. You’ll see a city where Bronze Age ruins rub shoulders with Roman relics and contemporary life.
In our Amman City Tour, we’ll show you the different sides of a city whose presence is as fascinating as its long and complex history. Moving through Jordan’s busy and beautiful capital, we’ll also stop in one of our favorite restaurants.

King Abdullah Mosque
The magnificent King Abdullah Mosque is the only mosque in town that welcomes visitors. We’ll show you around its spectacular interiors.

Amman Citadel
Your next stop is potentially the oldest continually-inhabited spot on the planet. And its archaeological site is one of the most fascinating places in the city.

Roman Amphitheatre
Not nearly as ancient, Amman’s incredibly well-preserved Roman theatre is marvelous – and offers gorgeous views of the city.

Nymphaeum Fountain
Alongside the theatre, the Nymphaeum was at the heart of ‘Philadelphia’, Roman Amman. Once a wonderful place for a dip, it is recently being restored.

Souq (Old Market)
Walk through the old markets, and experience downtown Amman with all of your senses.

Al-Husseini Mosque
From the outside, view and grab a quick picture of one of the largest and most significant mosques in the country.

Lunch
After a busy morning, we’ll have a proper Jordanian lunch.

Rainbow Street
Time permitting, we'll take a stroll along Rainbow Street – past its renowned cafes, bars, and markets.
