Itinerary

Day 1: Jerusalem: Mount of Olives & Old City Tour

Meeting Point & Time
7am - Pickup from your door in Amman and transfer to King Hussein / Allenby Bridge Israeli-controlled terminal.

Border Crossing
7:50am - Arrival at the Jordanian Terminal of King Hussein/ Allenby Bridge. Cross the border and meet your driver at the taxi booth outside the Israeli terminal.

Mount of Olives
11am - Arrive at the Mount of Olives for a wonderful view over Jerusalem.

Old City
Enter the Old City through the Dung Gate to visit the Wailing (or Western) Wall, and view the Haram Al Sharif with the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock.

Free Exploration
Take some time to explore the bazaars, and leave then the Old City to the west by Jaffa Gate.

Finish the day at your hotel near the Old City.

Day 2: Bethlehem

8:30am - Pickup from your hotel and we'll depart to Bethlehem.

Separation Wall
9:15am - Arrive at the separation wall and see the massive barrier the Israeli government built. On the wall you'll see the first of many palestinian graffiti / street art that Bethlehem has become famous for.

Church of the Nativity & Manger Square
9:30am - Continue into the center of Bethlehem to see the Church of the Nativity, believed to be located at the birthplace of Jesus.

Banksy Graffiti & Walled Off Hotel Museum
10:30am - See some of famous street artist Banksy's political graffiti around the city including "Armored Dove", "Girl Frisking Soldier", and "Protester throwing Flowers" and visit his hotel - pointedly named "The Walled Off Hotel"

Border Crossing
2pm - Arrive at the Israeli terminal of Allenby / King Hussein Bridge

Drop-off in Amman
6pm - Drop-off at you chosen location in Amman.

Anticipated Timeline for Border Crossing:

Day 1
07:00 am – Pick up from your location in Amman.

07:50 am – Arrival at the Jordanian Terminal of King Hussein/ Allenby Bridge. The terminal opens at 08:00 am – when you can enter and pay the exit tax.

08:30 am – Board the standard Border Service Shuttle Bus which crosses the 5km of no man’s land between the terminals.

08:45 am – Arrive at the Israeli terminal and go through security checks, immigration and customs.

10:00 am – Meet your driver at the taxi booth outside the Israeli terminal.

10:15 am – Depart from the border crossing to Jerusalem.

11:00 am – Arrive at your chosen destination in Jerusalem.

Day 2
2:00 pm – Arrive at the Israeli Terminal of Allenby / King Hussein Bridge. Enter the Terminal and pay the exit tax.

3:00 pm – Board the standard Border Service Shuttle Bus which crosses the 5Km of no man’s land between the terminals.

4:15 pm – Arrive at the Jordanian terminal and complete security checks, immigration and customs

4:45 pm – Meet your Jordanian driver at the terminal and depart from the border to Amman.

*Please note, this is only an example and times can vary according to various factors (e.g. how busy the border crossing is, security procedures, etc.).

* The border is controlled by the Jordanian and Israeli governments, so we referred to the building on each side as the Israeli or Jordanian terminal.
